How can I restore my Gallery app

PerterP

Newbie
So my phone prompted me to update 2 days ago which i did. Eventually in the evening I tried to find the gallery app and couldn't. I have tried all the fixes i could think of or find on here:
Reboot- Done.
Clear Launcher data - done (last resort but didn't work) sonneries telephone
It's not in my menu/drawer app. (I searched too so you know)
Camera app still works well
It does not appear in the app settings menu and yes before it disappeared, I hadn't disabled it because I have not disabled any apps. Even my camera is enabled.

The Gallery app is the easiest for me and I am really Having a hard time. Please Help!!!!

The gallery is usually a system app, so would possibly be part of the update. Without knowing what your phone is it's impossible to know what gallery app it uses, but I wonder whether it has changed the app in this update, e.g. switched the previous gallery app to Google's Photos?

If it has done something like that (which is just speculation) your options would be to either use the new app or, as Danny says, install another one.

If you open your camera app isn't there an icon to review pictures? That's normally linked to the system gallery, so tapping that should take you to whatever is currently installed.
