I am getting ready to reset my verizon Lucid 2 LG phone and i dont want to lose all my current contacts.

If your contacts are synced to your Google account, no worries: they will all restore as soon as you log in on the other side of the reset and sync up. If they are phone contacts, you'll want to convert them to Google contacts or you will lose them. The Lucid 2 forum has other users who can guide you through that process.
