Help How can I tell if my phone is a Maxx or not ??

The salesperson had never heard of the Razr Maxx. The phone they sold me was in a box marked Maxx but all the markings on the phone are xt912. Nowhere on the phone is the model indicated as xt912m. So how can I be sure I received the correct phone ? Thanks.

Funny you should say that. My MAXX says just DROID RAZR under the Settings/About/Model. But there is no doubt it's a MAXX. I've been unplugged for almost 23.5 hours, playing mp3 music for about 40% of that and just got the 15% battery warning a minute ago.

hmm, maybe it's the software. i am on Andriod 2.3.6 VZ system version 6.12.173.XT912.Verizon.en.US
 
I have a Max and under about phone it says razr. Not Maxx anywhere. The excellent battery life and slightly larger dimensions says it all tho.
 
Mine also just says Droid Razr under Model number. The odd thing is the build date says Nov 30th 2011. Thats only 19 days after the original razr was released. You can tell you have a maxx because the back of the phone slops up and doesn't have the hump by the camera.
 
Really?!?! This is actually a new thread??? You're honestly not able to go online and look at profile photos of the Razr and the Razr Maxx and tell which one you're holding in your hand there? Not to mention the fact that YOU just said that it came in a black box that says "DROID RAZR MAXX" on it??!?!? :rolleyes:

Yeah mine doesn't say MAXX either but it's what I ordered and the battery life is excellent. My accelerometer died so I have to get it replaced. Just trying to make sure they don't try to stick me with a non-maxx! Thanks for the input!
