How can I tell if phone is unlocked

Have a Huawei U8665 Fusion II with AT & T as carrier.....would like to switch to Straight talk....is it possible? If so, what has to be done. Android 2.3.6 OS

If you take your phone to a T-Mo store and ask to test out a SIM card and can make a phone call, then it's unlocked (I did this). For Straight Talk, i would check to see if their service uses any of the same frequencies the phone has.
