How can I transfer video on an old feature phone?

I have an old feature phone, probably released in 2005 or 2006 - definitely NOT smartphone or Android or Windows system.... there is an invaluable video that I badly want to transfer it to my computer... I am sure that it doesn't have WiFi function too... What can I do?

Luckily the phone is now still working, I am worried that it will fail soon....

Does it have removable storage (microSD card or similar)?

If not, does it have any messaging capability that could send the video? MMS would do if it's small, otherwise email might be more of a long shot.

Otherwise you could try using its cable (probably priorietary) and a computer, though that probably requires finding some manufacturer-specific software to do the backup or transfeer.

It would certainly help if you could tell us what model of phone it is - there was very little standardisation in feature phones, so not even knowing what brand it is makes it hard to say anything other than very generic points like those above.

This may or may not work but look into using the BitPim utility:

Be prepared to do some finagling to get it to detect your phone (the mounting menu is a bit rough), but your biggest challenge will be finding a suitable USB cable for your flip-phone. Most of them only had proprietary connectors that were only used by the accompanying, custom power adapter so that can be a challenge. There's a lot of them on Amazon but it depends on just what the model I.D.
