Help How can I turn off call waiting in Nougat?

I would like to turn off Call Waiting, but the setting appears to not be available in Android Nougat. Does anyone know how to do it? I have the S7 Edge on Verizon. TIA

On my s5 the call waiting settings are in settings/calls/more settings/call waiting.
I would imagine that it's similar in other phones

Thanks for the reply. I had read that the setting was where you describe, but it's not at that location on my phone. I was hoping that someone using the S7 Edge on Verizon would know where to find it.

Can't say I've heard this request before... best thing to do is call Verizon and request the feature be removed. You'll have to call back if you want it re-added, though.

Thanks for the suggestion. That's what I'm going to try next. By the way, the reason I want to turn off call waiting is because for me it's a distraction; I prefer those calls go directly to voicemail.
