My wife and i both have a HTC Wildfire and they are both android and both have Market on them but mine looks a older version(2.12) but my wife has version 2.3.6 so how can i update my to that version?

when i open my Market i have got the version with the gray strip at the top but my wife have got the green bit at the top and looks much better.

Also both of our Wildfires have Android 2.2 on them.

Keep WiFi on, launch your Android Market, then it will auto update it. Also can clear the cache and data of Android Market, then launch it, it will auto update it in background, just wait for a while.

Many thanks for that

How long do i leave it when i have launched Market? also if i clear the cache will that get rid of my apps?

EDIT ive tried it and its not worked.

I refactoried my phone, and about half hours, my market updated to the newest version. I uninstall the recent update, but it updated it again after 15 minutes.

Clear cache won't get rid of your apps. I usually clear it.

Did you also try clearing the data and cache for the market updater?

I went into

Settings then Applications then Manage applications then All then Market then cleared data and cache but that still didnt work.

I have just been into Market updater but it wont let me click on anything in there.
