Help How can I use more SD storage?

Jim Robson

Newbie
I recently bought an SD card for my Galaxy S5. I was disappointed when I found that most apps and data won't transfer. I go to Settings>Device>Storage>Applications but most of the applications have the "Move to SD Card" greyed out so it's not operable.
After I transferred all that I could, I still had 59.47 GB on a 64GB card, and I only have 2.37GB Available Space on my device memory. I'm sure there is a trick to allow me to put more on the SD Card. Any suggestions? Thanks, Jim

If you root your phone you can then use an app called link2sd which will go some way to helping with this.

You have to create a Ext2 partition on your sd card in order for it to work.

I don't have a guide to hand so you'll need to have a look.
