Hi all,
I was wondering how difficult it was to port a number from using a ST sim for Verizon to one using ATT. I've been using Google FI and it's been horrific on the Sprint and TMobile networks. I was a life long Verizon wireless customer up to this, the last straw being the price gouging for unlimited data made me decide to leave.
I bought the SIM kit for ST for Verizon to use on the Nexus 6p I have but have read that the dataspeeds are throttled to 5mb/s from Verizon and 8mb/s from ATT. I have the feeling that 5mb is probably sufficient to not notice any real difference in speed and any heavy downloading I would be doing on a wifi connection.
Between the horrible networks FI uses and the muffled sounding calls (this is after a phone swap from Google once already) I've had it. I like the premise behind FI but it seems like it's a still a work in progress.
