How do I add custom words with shortcuts

Love my new SGS2 LTE from Rogers. Can't find something I use a lot of for industry-specific lingo.

I'm looking for the place in options where I can set up words or phrases that can be entered with short keystrokes. For instance, I used to type HF on my blackberry, and it would enter my signature in the email, text etc.

Anyone enlighten me?

A Launcher like GO Launcher, you just long press the icon, and select "rename". I'm sure others do the same.

I'm not understanding you, maybe you are not understanding me. What does a launcher have to do with customer dictionary? And press what?
