How do I apply wallpaper that I downloaded?

Hello. First off, I LOVE my android!!!

But I am having a slight issue, and I don't have my book with me. I recently downloaded a wallpaper from VM's site, and it's in my phone, under 'my downloads'. However, I click on it, and all it does is give me the info on it, but no option to set as wallpaper or anything. I also noticed, all the ringtones and such that I have bought in the past (with older VM phones) are on my list, but again, how do actually use them? Just having them in a list does me no good. Please help!! :o

Welcome to the Android forums!
Let's start with ringtones. When you start the Music application, it scans the sdcard for als media files, when you play some son and press Menu, voil

In the alternative - don't know what kind of phone you have, but I'll guess that it might be an OV. You should be able to long press on the screen, choose wallpapers, chose gallery, and there should be a 'Downloads' folder in your Gallery files. Open that, locate your paper, and drag the sizing marquee as desired. Don't forget: your phone's resolution makes some papers inappropriately sized for using the whole area of the wallpaper - in which case you can connect your phone to your computer and resize as needed with your favorite image editor. Post or PM if you need help. Good luck.
