Help How do I change the keyboard clicks to typewriter sounds?

My device is Note 10.1 2014 edition. It is rooted. Basically I want my entire tablet to be like Hanx typewriter and I've already changed the font to a typewriter font. Yes, I know its stupid...

I surmise you'll have to find the sound file you like, change it to an .ogg file, then put it in /system/media/audio/ui/KeypressStandard, then reboot. Be sure to rename the original from KeypressStandard.ogg to KeypressStandard.ogg.bak. so you can go back or if it messes up somehow.

Edit: fwiw, I use the app, Root Explorer when I do stuff like that :)

But I did that! I did it in ES explorer though. I don't think it really matters. The sounds are still the default sounds.

I just converted them. The sounds MAY be the typewriter sounds. I can't be sure, but the spacebar sounds noticebly quieter. I think the audio files have been "squished" into a shorter time. Some of them were 15 secs long. Maybe you can't use long audio files.
