Help How do I change these settings?

I think I found out why I can not download certain apps, which is because I have my settings so I can not allow apps that need full internet use and etc.
How do I get into these settings, and change it to these?
I need:
Storage, Modify/Delete SD card contents
Network Communication, full internet access
Phone calls, read phone state and indentity
System tools, prevent phone from sleeping.

I have no idea where these settings are. Any help would be appreciated.

No.

When you download an app like I donno....Youtube from the Market, it will request access to Storage and Network Communication. All you have to do is click ok.

Unless you rooted your phone and installed some sort of Firewall on the phone and told it to prevent access to that stuff you posted above....that is the only way to block your phone from doing what it is suppose to do.

What is happening? You having problems accessing the Market.

If you haven't already, do a backup of the stuff you want to keep on the phone (like Contacts and whatever else) and download PC Companion from Sony and reflash/repair the phone.

If you can't download things from the google market using WIFI or 3g and you have signed into your phone with a gmail account (the Market needs you to use a gmail address to download apps off the Market)

When did this start happening. If if happened after an update to the Market, you could try and uninstall the Market's updates.

My phone has been rooted.
My friend did it when I first got the phone.
I did not know rooting the phone could create a firewall (This is my first android phone)
I am guessing he might know how to by pass that.

When you first got the phone, was it running Android 2.1? Have you since upgraded to 2.3?

If you were rooted in 2.1, you aren't now rooted in 2.3.

As for what you think might be a problem. It isn't.

The quickest way to try and resolve your issue might be to back everything up and reinstall/reflash using PC Companion from Sony.

Or, again, if you haven't tried connecting to a WIFI network, it could just be a problem with connecting over 3G and connecting to the Market.

You could also avoid the Market all together and download APK files which is what the Market installs. And you could manually install apps. But that is a pain in the butt.

When I install an app on any Android phone, I get that same message telling me it requires access to Network and SDCard and all that.
