How do I completely remove DIRECTV Remote app from my Galaxy S7

I have found how to "disable" DIRECTV Remote from notifications on my phone and followed those directions. I want to "uninstall" the app completely as I'm no longer a DIRECTV subscriber. This is using up storage/data space that I need for other functions on my phone. I don't want it at all on my phone. Thanks for any help that anyone can give me.

In the app drawer, long press the app and a trash can icon should appear on the screen. While still holding down your finger, frag the icon to the trash can to delete it.
