How do I copy clock app from my HTC phone?

deltaforce

I have HTC One X that is not rooted. The clock app on that phone is really what I need and like, no frills yet does the job. How do I copy that apk? I tried Smart Backup but it is a system app (probably part of Sense) so it doesn't show up in apps to back up.

I would like to have that app on my rooted Galaxy S4. The google clock, although minimalistic and does the job, I can't have time for 2-3 clocks for 2-3 places at one time on home screen, which I need for the job issues.

Something like this

So either
- How do I get that clock app from my HTC One X?
- Is there any other similar app?

Thanks in advance.

Search the Play store for something that looks similar. The HTC clock widget only works with the HTC launcher, so won't work on your Samsung.

It may be that someone can suggest something, but I don't know one offhand (apart from making it yourself using Zooper or UCCW).

Hi, try HTC Clock on Play Store :-

There's no indication that it's for HTC only so it's worth a try, although Hadron may well be right.

The One X incompatibility is probably down to the version of the Sense software.

I have the app on my One (M7), but even so the widget is not available with a third party launcher. That's why I was sure it wouldn't work with the Samsung.
