How do I create a Favorites folder?

I have an Alcatel phone, and it's Android 6.0.

I don't have any options anywhere to save a pic as "favorite" or to move it to another folder. Just the usual -crop, share, set as, etc.....

Those features are gallery app dependent, not Android. You could try creating a new folder using a file manager app and using that to move photos around.

When you view a pic in Gallery or Files app, you do have no options to move it to another folder.

But when you have checked one or more pics in Files app, you will find 'Move' option in the menu bar at the screen bottom. There you can move them to another created folder.
