How do I create a lockscreen?

I don't know if this is the right place to post this question but, I was wondering if there is a way to create a lockscreen and post it on the Market.
I want to create one and maybe post it for a download or create an lockscreen app.

What kind of "lockscreen app" did you have in mind lol? I mean, do you want it to be like the MIUI lockscreen or something?

Either one will be great. the MIUI lockscreen looks great too. How would I create one for installation or for the market. Any help would be great, thanks.

I have never know a MIUI lockscreen to be sold in the market - even if that were accomplished, I cannot imagine the .mtz wouldn't be given away within the first five minutes, since it's an easily shared file . MIUI themes that are sold seem to be done through paypal transaction, but the vast majority MIUI resources are shared freely.
Should you like to join in on the MIUI lock bonanza, come hang with us here, and there are plenty of people with more knowledge than myself to ask.

For the same reasons as above, I cannot imagine a WidgetLocker theme being saleable. Also, any components (sliders, clocks, wallpapers) generally have to be placed by the user, but that may have changed in the updated app. The same sharability of WL themes applies anyway.
