how do i create barcodes so that when people scan it it goes to a certain link

I use a QR-Code Tag extension for Chrome.

Other browsers probably have a similar feature available.

Then save the QR-Code as a jpg and attach it to the post or you can usually link to it (a link to it will be provided by the company who writes the browser extension).

I just do a search on Google for QR code generator. There are a ton of free ones.

When I get home i will link to the freeware software on my pc, pretty full feature program or being free. You can make a contact code that allows automatic saves to contact info for friends or customers, maps with directions, text links to webpages, pretty cool. There are also tons of. free online ones too.
