Help How do I disable or freeze the Google app while playing music?

Whenever I play music or podcasts through the stereo jack the google voice app opens occasionally and either prompts me to use voice search or voice dial, as though I said "ok google" or the command for google voice dial. The stereo cord I use is just a regular male to male stereo cord that is plugged into my car radio (the same thing happens with a set of headphones I have) but my phone recognizes it as a cord that transmits voice also.
I already use tasker profiles to launch my music and podcast apps, is there any action I could add to these tasks to freeze or disable the voice apps?
If not is there any other way I could do this with root access?

I posted this on the tasker forums and never got a reply. also, This started happening long before I rooted my phone, I have an Optimus F6.

Here is a list of the functions that sometimes happen through the stereo cord:

Track forward (occasionally)
Pause
Open voice dial
Open voice search

This will all happen even without tasker running in the background.

I've had a mess about and whilst I can see a way of potentially killing an app when a headset/cable is plugged in, I can't see any way of killing that app specifically. I thought it was Google Search, but I can't see that in the list of apps to kill.

If it happens with a couple of different cables, is there anything impeding the port?

No there is nothing physically impeding the port, and yes it does happen with different cables. I have the tasker task setup to kill both of those apps whenever I plug in a stereo cord so whenever it happens I just quickly take the cord out and plug it back in but thats not really a good solution because sometimes it happens again almost immediately.

Does anyone have any idea of something that might fix this problem?

If I disabled these apps completely (and maybe the google search app) would my phone still work fine?

I also think this is a Google Search app function. I personally uninstall that app completely, and haven't found any unintended effects (loss of "OK Google"/Google Now are intended effects for me).

So uninstalling Google search didn't solve my problem. Instead of opening the search or voice dial app now Google Play Music just pauses when it thinks something is coming in through the stereo cable. One way I have stopped this from happening is to return to the home screen and most of the time this will stop it from pausing and unpausing randomly. I need some way to disable receiving commands through the stereo jack. Does anyone know how to do this? or does anyone have any suggestions for me?
