How do I export my notes from AK Notepad?

I make all my notes on the AK Notepad app, and have just found out that Catch / AK Notepad is no longer operating.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4, and am about to get a new phone, so I want to transfer my notes.

The notes only seem to have saved on my phone up to August 2013, when the app was discontinued, but I wondered whether there's any way of getting them off there without having to copy and paste them one by one, as I've made quite a few since then...

Any help would be much appreciated.

Here's what you go to do: download ES file explorer from the Google Play Store onto both old and new phones. Go into old phone's AK Notepad and export the file/files. Go into Es file explorer and find Ak notepad export files folder and long press. Select cut. Tap on the top and select your SD card then paste. Take that sd card and install it into your new phone. Go into es file explorer then go into your SD card then cut that and paste into your phone. Go into AK notepad and import. Done.
 
Yeah, the developer has disappeared! How do I get in touch with this guy? I've sent emails and posted on the Google Play Store but no response.

"Hey man, I need help with this app. Are you still updating it? It's not working right on Android 8.1.

I have a TON of notes and no way to get them into a new updatable note pad.

I think I bought this app from you years and years ago. I need a new note pad or for you to update your password apps to run on Android 8.1. Right now it doesn't even show up in my recent apps taps. Plus it doesn't work correctly in general. I dread having to export my notes as text files and then go through about 300+ notes and reimport/type all these notes into a new note pad that will not become ABADONE-WARE!"

I buy these apps and then a few years later the apps are worthless... That is why I'm about done buying any more apps or games. There are a ton of shootem ups that I loved and could play on my current Nexus 5 running KitKat. Now all those games I bought are gone! They aren't even on the GPS anymore. These are just a few of the games I'm talking about "DoDonPachi" and "DoDonPachi Resurrection" and "Ikaruga"... There were a few more but I can't think of the names.

Who knows of a good note pad app that will do what I want it to and has a bunch of import and export settings in it?

For exported notes try looking in a directory in the root folder named AK_NOTEPAD_EXPORTED_NOTES. That's where it put mine.
