how do i get 4g

why is my phone saying i only have 1x and not 4g on my huawei m931 metropcs phone
 
Hello and welcome to Android Forums.

I see your phone as having LTE.

Settings > Wireless and networks > 4G

Keep in mind, you may just have no reception where you are and not the fault of the phone. Also carriers do maintenance on antennas occasionally and you might lose reception fro 1-3 days.
