how do i get videos onto my pc

I just got a brand new laptop. I've uploaded all my pics and songs from my g1 to my laptop but I'm having trouble with my videos can anyone help me any advise would help. How can I watch videos from my g1 on my pc. Are there any free converters I can download and if so which ones?

I had the same problem but I downloaded the free Quicktime player and it played my Magic's recorded videos no problem on my PC
