How do I know what version I have?

Hi there

What version do I have cos im totally confused. Im with vodaphone and keep hearing that they gonna update early july to version 2 with flash player of which I really want. Ive never updated and donno how to update or if it does it automatically.

Looking on my phone it says:-

Model samsung GT-I9000
Firmware version 2.1- update 1
Baseband version I9000XXJF3


Does it update automatically or do I have to do something?

If it has updated how do I get flash player.
