Just upgraded to Oreo and I can't figure out how to keep the screen showing while charging. Can anyone help?

In the developer options, enable the "stay awake" option

Sadly I can't find any developer options in Oreo. I can't find loads of things. They say they changed the menu to simplify it but it's made it much more difficult imho.
If Oreo on this device is like a Pixel then it will be in Settings > System > Advanced. Of course Huawei may have moved things around.
If you can't find it, maybe you need to enable it again (go into "about phone", find the build number and tap repeatedly on that. I still think that this is a stupid and childish thing to do, and nowhere near as clever or cool as Google obviously think it is).

About phone and repeatedly tapping did the trick. Never heard of this before, many many thanks!!
It's been like that for a few years now. Someone at Google decided that your average user didn't need to see the developer options menu, and thought it would be a "cute" to hide it as an Easter Egg.
