recently the icon for my text messaging app moved from the home screen to another screen.
how do I move it back to the home screen ?

how do i move an app back to the home screen

Press and hold it, slide it to wherever you want it to go, if it's going to another screen you have to reeaaallly go all the way to edge with it, sometimes it's tricky (annoying).

Once you get your homepage like you want it, go into your settings>Home Screen and you should find a setting to lock the home screen. This will keep everything in place and keep icons from changing screens.
