How do I put a game on my phone?

OK, so I just got my HTC Desire. Please excuse the lame question but I'm eager to get a good game loaded on to it (know a good one?) How do I get a game onto the device? I've managed to get some music loaded but how on earth do I find a game off the internet and load it on the phone.

go to the marketplace. It is an app on your phone.

Ah, I see, thanks. I did try this earlier but for some reason it's asking for me to set up a google account but all I get is a problem occured while communicating wit Google servers message and it keeps saying please try again later.

But thanks anyway, at least I know where to go and what to do now.

I set up a google account via my laptop then signed in with the details on the phone and it then worked.
