How do I retrieve my contacts from gmail?

How do I get my contacts back, I backed up my contacts on gmail. And i just got a replacement phone and I am not sure how to retrieve my contacts from gmail. Can you help me ? (Samsung G3)

You have to setup your gmail account on your new phone and make sure that sync contacts is checked. go to settings-add account. Enter your information in and then your phone should sync with all the stuff you have selected on the sync screen.
