how do i save my current wallpaper?

i want to flash a new rom but i love one of the wallpapers that came with my current one. how can i save it when i wipe? moto droid

I'd just see if I could find a copy of it, and save that. Did you try doing a Google Image search for it?

Copy /system/app/Launcher.apk

Dig around in there, that's where they should be, depending on the ROM you're using.

CM6, for example, would be /system/app/ADWLauncher.apk

bump...I have looked through /system/app/Launcher.apk and not been able to find the current wallpaper. Actually, it is called Launcher2.apk, I believe.

There are several other wallpapers in there (the stock ones) but not the one that is currently set as the wallpaper. Does anyone have an idea of how I could save the current wallpaper to a file?

I've got a Nexus One running the stock firmware, 2.3.4. I want to save my current wallpaper before I root the phone.
