How Do I send a Group Text or can I with this phone?

I have the FIERCE XL. When I go to add contact for a group (imported group from Gmail) There is not group option. I click on the little person icon and it only brings up name contacts no groups. I search for the group and it finds nothing. The only way I'm able to add a group is select new contact, go down to group to add the contact and add new group. However, I cannot get the group from anywhere.
When I go to contacts, there are no groups or options for group.

I'm not sure which carrier you're on Jasmynn000 but this is from T-Mobile's manual for your phone.


Send a group message.

• Scroll to and tap People.

• Tap + plus sign at the bottom right.

• Choose the account under which you wish to create the group:
  
  • Corporate
  • Google
  • USIM
  • Phone

• Edit the group name.

• Tap + plus sign to add contacts, or type a person's name.

• Tap OK.

• Tap Done once you have added the desired people to the group.

Send to a Group (already created)

1. From any home screen, tap Messaging .
2. Tap the + plus sign at the bottom to create a new message.
3. Tap + plus sign at the top to expand the menu.
4. Tap Groups.
5. Tap the desired group.
6. Scroll down and enter your message.
7. Tap Send.
