how do i send music files through messaging?

Why cant I send music files through messages on my android zte avid phone? everytime i want to send a audio attachment it doesnt let me because it says the file size is over the limit well i wanna know how i can fix that so can you please help me. My phone is a android avid zte.

MMS is quite limited. You can set this limit in SMS app, Settings/Size limit (up to 300kB), but be aware that your telco's limit can be lower.
