Apps How do I start making game for Android?

Hi I decided to make some games for the android o.s
I already know how to make android application and I already know Java.

The game I want to do are simple 2D game... The hardest I want to do for now is a Super Mario like game.

By the way, I have no idea about how can I start doing this...
Searching on google/youtube I found this --> Android Game Programming. Tutorial 1.

What do you think about it as a starting point?

It is difficult doing a game like Super Mario?

Do you have any advices?

Looks like it, yes, but I didnt watch them nor have I developed games in years heh. But they cover the basics it looks like (looping/collision detection/tiling)

In my opinion "Mario like" games are not the easiest starting point (scene change, collision detection etc

it was fun and easy to follow .. try it
