How Do I Stop Android From Sending Voicemails as Text Messages?

I have a new Google Pixel 6. I love the new version of Android. The transcription of voice mails works with about 85% accuracy and is useful. The problem I am having is that the transcription happens twice. First, in the "Voicemail" tab of the Phone app, I can select voicemails and see a transcription. Nice! But Android is also duplicating that transcription and sending this to me as a text message. Why is that happening? How do I turn off the text? I want to get Android notifications about the voice mail and read the transcription right in the Phone app. What is the point of also getting the same transcription as a text message?

Okay, this is a T-Mobile "Feature". You go to the account tab in the T-Mobile app and then the Profile Settings. Under Block Other there is a setting to block T-Mobile voicemail to text transfers. It did not work after I set it, but maybe it takes time to get to all nodes in the system.
