Help How do I stop the Kindle update notification?

On my Razr, I keep getting a notification about update available for Kindle. I don't use Kindle and I don't want to keep responding to the update.

root your phone, freeze kindle, then update it. it will never run but I haven't found a way to stop the update notifications unless I turn all notifications off.
