Help How do I transfer my files from my mobile android to Bluestacks?

At first I used to play games on my mobile phone, but one of the games app close at random and I'm just so sick of it that I decided to switch to bluestacks.

But the question is...how do I transfer my game(as in save data) to bluestacks? Do I have to connect my phone to my laptop with a USB? Or do I just need to sign in to Google play games and it'll be there?

Oh it's very possible. If the games are using Google and Gamer ID. Keeping and transferring your progress, achievements, scores, etc. is usually no problem, provided your Bluestacks or whatever is signed into the same Google account as your phone. It will all be automatically synced.

However some game publishers like to do their own things, e.g. Fortnite, this requires you use their own Epic Games account to keep your data.

I see. Well, that game I mention is on Google Play Games. So I just need to add my email to the account, download the game and I'm all set?

Not necessarily, because there's no obligation for game devs to use Google's Gamer ID sign in. But you'll usually know if it does, because you should see your Gamer ID or Gmail address when you start the game.

If the game is crashing on your phone, how do you know if it's not going to do the same thing on an emulator like Bluestacks? Maybe it's just buggy and the dev needs to fix it? Some app and game devs just don't support their stuff running on software emulators at all, like Pokemon Go.

Also if there's no apparent backup for the game, you might have to enquire with the dev and see what they can suggest. Some games might just store their data on the device somewhere, and that's what needs to be transferred. But you need to know how and where its stored to do that.

But without knowing what the game is, I can't really help you anymore.
