That is one of the most annoying things I think. The first thing I do when I get a new phone / tablet is turn it off! So I got the process for you.
- Go to the settings
- select "Language & Input"
- Press the settings button for "Android keyboard" (which should appear as a sprocket next to it)
- Scroll to find Auto Correction and select it
- Select off
- You're done!
