Help how do i turn off background apps

I do have advanced app killer. When I close them they open up again.

I don't want t any app to be open in the background. I am trying to address my battery drain issue and believe this is one of the issues that causes battery drain.

get rid of it. android hasn't needed it since 2.0

constantly killing apps is probably part of your battery drain problem. follow suggestions in this thread: http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-s3/618583-truth-about-your-battery.html and others. more than likely it's already been covered. very little "runs" in the background, so you're actually not killing anything.. you're just clearing stuff cached in memory, which will immediately reload if needed.

if you still can't find anything, then post some specifics so we might help.
 
Do not try to close them as they will reopen anyway. Use a monitor app that will give you answers about what drains battery.
 
The. Battery was draining before I got the phoneed activated. I dont see why closing them drain it. I really don't want them open. What is the purpose of them being open. There are some games, facebook email I dont have them updating themselves I prefer for manually check them. Except in the case of the games where it needs go indicate any in-app messages or if it's my turn. Otherwise they are eating into my data plan.
