Help How do I unlock the screen?

Every time I go to use my phone the screen is locked and I need to hit the MENU button

How do I stop this ?

I haven't found a way. It might be an OS thing. I turned off the security though...was more of a pain. Try turning your screen timeout to a longer time.

The only way I have found to stop this is to turn off the screen time-out.... but that eats alot of battery....
