How do I use a droid xt912 with bad esn?

I have a droid razr xt912 for verizon with a bad ESN, and I want to use it as a media player, but I can't get past the start (activation) screen! It says that I need a SIM card to activate, but I just want to use it as an mp3 device! HELP!
