First of all If you want to keep your number then continue to pay for virgin mobile until number has been moved. After the number is moved to new service or If you just want to stop using virgin and get new number with new service just stop paying. You will receive a few emails about keeping service active of which you can ignore. After your payment time runs out the phone will stop working and after 90 days the phone number will be put back into the pool and if you wish to use virgin again after that 90 days then it is like starting all over. Reactivate or buy a new phone.
So in short just stop paying and it will be done. No muss no fuss.
Ok one more question if I was ever to decide to sell this phone or reactivate how do I reset the radio so its able to be reactivated. Im not sure what the dialer code is to do it.
Never mind I think to reset the radio its ##RTN# then click format which should reset your radio back to the way it was before you activated it
