how do you get the music to be your ringtone?

I downloaded a song and want it as my ringtone,how do I make it a ringtone?

In my phone's original Music app, I can long-press a song and when the menu comes up there is an option for "Use as phone ringtone." After I've done that once the song stays listed so I can change my default ringtone to something else and use the song for a specific contact.

Phone > Settings > Phone ringtone

Then set your file. It's that easy!

Same for SMS. Messages > Settings > Sound
