So looking for the correct pronounciation of "Kies".. is it like "Keys" because the logo looks like a key, or is it pronounced like "Kies" rhyming with "Pies", or I've also seen it on a youtube video pronounced as "Kiss"?

Just because something looks Germanic doesn't necessarily mean that it is!

How would you pronounce ties, lies or pies?

Please can I have six pork pees just doesn't sound right!

Samsung is a Korean company so their pronunciations are a little different than western languages.

The K is a hard phonetic sound similar to k in the romance languages, there the similarities stop. The lower case "i" is used in place of a soft rolling consonant while the "e" is a hard stop, with emphasis on closing the lips and smacking them for the final sound. I believe the "s" is silent.

This would make the official pronunciation of "K-i-e-s" = crap. ;)

Samsung's home country doesn't mean that the Kies model name is a Korean word. Even if it was a Korean word, transliteration isn't an exact science (no matter what the language).

Seems like that would be a clue.
