Samsung is a Korean company so their pronunciations are a little different than western languages.
The K is a hard phonetic sound similar to k in the romance languages, there the similarities stop. The lower case "i" is used in place of a soft rolling consonant while the "e" is a hard stop, with emphasis on closing the lips and smacking them for the final sound. I believe the "s" is silent.
This would make the official pronunciation of "K-i-e-s" = crap.![]()
