How do you put lyrics in a song so you can view it while it's playing?

I have an HTC G2 running 2.2 and I was wandering how I would put lyrics into a song so that when I play them from the music widget the lyrics will appear.

First, the music player on your phone would need to support lyrics, which I'm not sure the stock one does. Second, you need to put the lyrics in the id3 tag. That can be done on any computer with any number of id3 tag editors. I personally recommend TagScanner.
