I'm running stock 5.0 on a Moto X (2014). I'm using the stock texting app.
My issue is that every time I receive two or more pictures in one text, Android turns them into a slideshow. I can't do basic things like save the picture, swipe through them, or even view them at full size. What the hell is the slideshow thing, and how do I turn it off? I can't imagine anyone actually enjoys having their MMS messages crippled like this, and every other phone OS allows you to send/receive multiple pictures at once. Seems like something that should be fixed in the fifth iteration of the most used OS in the world.
So I guess my question is this: is there a way to remove "slideshow" from my MMS messages? Alternatively, is there a way to save my hijacked photos to my phone? Ideally, I'd like to continue using the default messaging app. It's perfectly functional except for this one awful "feature".
