How do you save Texting/images people send you?

I have received pictures embedded in my text messages on my Android phone and would like to save them to my computer (I-mac). How do I do this? I found out there is an application on my android called (Mybackuppro) but it backs up the entire phone; I only need a few of these pictures. Anyone know how to do this? thank you, bonnie

I use SMS Backup+. It saves your text messages (text and mms) to your Gmail account.

Hi BonnieH. What you can do is long press on the picture in the text then choose Save attachment from the popup list. That will save your picture to the phone. Now how ever you transfer files from your phone to your iMac is an option for you to use. I say "how ever" because I do not have a clue about Mac file management.
