Hello, I recently got the Galaxy S2 (Sprint). It appears that Samsung removed this functionality from their new phones.

Is there a 3rd party app that will do this on the S2.

Reverse Lookup will do it. The program is designed to look up the caller id for numbers called or received that are not in your contacts. One of the options is to send directly to voice mail.

If the number is in your contacts then delete it. After the next time that number is called or calls you, select the optioin to send to VM. That app will add that listing to your contacts with a unique name. You can then edit that contact and replace the name with your preference if you want to.

A little akward but will give the ability to make any number go straight to VM if you need to. The down side is that the first time around for any new caller not in your contacts you cannot send to VM.

You dont need the third party software - you can use Samsung's 'black list' function on the contact you want to bar.
