How do you share your videos you take with friends?

I know there is the option to make videos to send over MMS but lets face it, those videos are terrible quality.
How do you share your videos with your friends?
I took a 45 second video or so and then I uploaded to youtube and it was good quality.
The other thing I did because they wanted the video for their instagram was I uploaded to my DropBox and sent them a link to it and they downloaded it so they could put it on their instagram.

Is there a better way to share videos?

Have you tried glide? I use it on my S4 and it works really great.

MMS has a max file-size of 300kilobytes, often less depending on the carrier. You're not going to get very good videos.

If it's friends in the UK, I just use YouTube. It's easy for me via VPN, I already have a Google account and they don't have to download or install anything, or have an account or whatever. If I wished to shared a video with friends in China, I'd use Youku or Tudou.
