Help How do you stop beep when the battery is full ml

When the battery is charging at night, it beeps when the battery is full. I must keep the phone on because I am on call. It is loud. Any suggestions and how to stop it? I came from a Samsung S8 and there was a option to turn all sounds off except for the ringtone. Thank you for the advance for helping

Check your "sound" settings: there's something called "charging sounds" in there. Try turning it off.

(My first thought was "what sound", but I obviously turned this off when I was doing my initial setup and then forgot about it).

Nope, @Hadron's right - I didn't even know that option was there.

I didn't either: I typed the same reply you did, then thought "hang on, let's check the battery and sound settings, just in case...".

Something I do by reflex with any new device is go through the sound and vibration settings and turn off any dial pad tones, touch tones, haptics etc, so I expect I turned this off without giving it a second's thought when I first set it up.
