Help How do you text Short Message?

I tried sending something to "84444" and got an error message stating invalid number or short code. Msg 2114.

Any help?

I'm guessing that either the CSC has expired, was never valid (i.e. maybe typo), or a random CSC that has since changed. They are leased in short term blocks of time (e.g. 3 month, 6 month, 12 month, etc) so may very have expired. Random CSCs change.
