how do you turn off the camera shutter sound

Ok so I just picked up my galaxy gear last night off of craigslist and I'm trying to figure out how to turn off the shutter sound on the gear.

Put your finger over the speaker on the clasp.

You can't under normal conditions. This is by design so people aren't trying to "sneak" a pic where they shouldn't be. I read this somewhere and it makes sense. Simply let your imagination run wild....
