Root How easy is it to brick the One V?

Just a questions to those who have flashed custom ROMs to their phones. I would like to switch to CM10, but I'm worried about bricking my phone. Browsing around the xda-developers forums, I read that the One V is fairly easy to brick, and supposedly there had been several threads about people bricking their phone. To those who have flashed a custom ROM or whoever has more expertise regarding the One V, is it really that easy to brick the One V compared to other phones, or is the risk about the same compared any other phone?

It's not as easy as flashing roms onto a Galaxy Nexus, but even if you mess something up, there are many ways to reverse adverse effects on your phone. Lots of information here on the forums.
